I want to take a moment to recognize someone who has contributed a great deal of time and effort to the SWAT community in Arizona and particularly the ATOA. Rigo Durazo of TACFLOW and Craft International is one of the most selfless people I have ever come across. His knowledge and expertise are a rare commodity. He has offered his time and talents to help train up ATOA and other SWAT officers throughout Arizona time after time. If you know him, take the time to thank him. If you don't know him, make it a point to get to know him, you'll be better for the experience. Rigo, from the ATOA and from me personally, thank you for all you do!

MCSO Sniperfest 2011

The instructor brought in for the close-quarters combatives with a rifle was Rigo Durazo, a 30-year veteran of martial arts and an expert in Silat and Kali disciplines. He's been instructing such courses for the last 12 years, and is a good friend and teacher to Deputy Puente, who says the work has been invaluable. Rich Emberlin from Dallas SWAT

Rigo Durazo is saving lives in innovative ways that are long overdue in police and military training. Whether you are three months into your training or have a thirty year career under your belt, you need to take this class! In my twenty-five years in law enforcement, I've never been involved in any training that utilizes such a unique approach. Rigo doesn't just train the officer in new skills sets, he retrains the officer's mind set. Most police training is reactive and stresses how to handle situations that have already gone bad on us. Rigo teaches proactively so we can recognize the signs of predatory behavior and potential violence. Recognizing these signs earlier allows us to become the weapons we need to be in order to avert injury and death. He understands the limitations of current law enforcement defensive tactics and weapons training and works with each student to improve his/her survivability. Thank you, Rigo, for sharing your experience and knowledge with the law enforcement community and for making us all better cops.

Kali Combative tire Axercise

Being a military veteran and having served as a police officer for over 30 years, I have been very fortunate to attend a vast amount of training. Having been to three of Rigo's courses over the last few years I must say that, the training I received from Rigo was far beyond what I have ever experienced. The training is realistic and grounded on fundamentals that will work in the real world! Training with the "real world" concept in mind is what Tacflow is all about. It is evident that Success of the student is a number one priority and the training develops a set of skills that increases the students confidence and gives them the skills that can be used right away!

Kali Combative tire Axercise

Guru Durazo is an absolutely phenominal teacher. He has real world knowledge and experience in the world of combatives and brings this to all his trainings. He understands how to teach different people, reading their needs and tunning the classes to meet these. It's hard to put to words the experience you get when you train with Guru D, It is truly something you need to experience first hand and after you do, you will come back for more and more.

Surviving Edged Weapons Intro to KALI

As an operator with the valley's largest SWAT Unit, I have met alot of people that think they know how to deal with combatives and believe that they are a great instructor. I have never, during my 12 years in law enforcement, met an instructor that is as confident, patient, and thorough, during his instruction, as Guru Rigo Durazo.
